Shopping at the Painted Cottage
Even when the doors are closed the stores still open here at The Painted Cottage online. It is very easy and secure to shop on our website. It is very easy to browse our Painted Cottage Home site and our Painted Cottage Studio site, we try to keep our merchandise organized for your convenience. When you find an item you wish to purchase just click the Add to Cart button and the item is placed in your virtual shopping cart. If you are finished you can proceed to checkout, if not then just select continue shopping. Just remember when you finish shopping just click the shopping cart button and then the checkout button.
When you are in the check out you will be asked to sign in, if you already have a registered account with The Painted Cottage, if not you will be asked to fill out some personal information for billing and shipping and your email address. After that you are finished!
Afterwards you will be sent an email to confirm your purchase. We suggest you print out this email and keep it for your records. All credit card transaction and confidential information are verified and protected.
Note that your credit card will be charted at the time of checkout for all the items in your shopping cart. If you receive notice that an item or items are backordered, you can opt to cancel the order and your card will be immediately refunded.
Payment
We accept all forms of credit card, and your card will be charged as soon as your order is placed. Also a 7% sales tax will be added to all items.
Backorders
If an item is backordered we will be expecting a shipment shortly and then your item will be shipped immediately. You will receive a notice for the expected date of the delivery. If you do not want to wait just cancel the order and your card will not be charged.
